Biography

Graham Scott Costello is a Glasgow-based drummer, composer and visual artist.

Having loved music and art from an early age, Graham began drumming and playing music at the age of six. Growing up a self-taught drummer and a fan of many styles of music, he learned primarily by listening to records. Eventually, his love of music and jazz in particular saw him accepted to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Jazz.

He is as comfortable in a louder, rock-based environment as he is in an acoustic piano trio, bringing his own unique language to whatever the musical situation demands.

In his downtime from the musical world, Graham explores his love of  visual art, creating work for album covers, fanzines, amongst other things.
